When not tinkering, I complaint about Jakarta’s public transit at @dukuhatas2 and meme’d it at @shitpostrans, watch Skip and Loafer and A Place Further Than the Universe, and looking at my Shima + Mitsumi figures, alongside Chisato and Shigure Ui figures too.

Commute is my attempt at making Jakarta’s rail network feel like one system. It pulls the four operators (KAI Commuter, MRT Jakarta, LRT Jakarta, and LRT Jabodebek) into a single app for station search, timetables, lines, and interchange hubs, instead of four separate ones.

Under the hood there’s a line-topology model that untangles trunk and branch routing. It’s an installable PWA with offline data caching, running on Cloudflare Workers and D1 at the edge, with a scraping pipeline that keeps schedules current.
